Is the board taking on water and getting heavier? If not, I wouldn't do anything and simply get the most out of the board. It could last for years

Of course, you could replace the finbox, but that's a bit of work, or a significant expense if you have someone else do it. Is the board worth it? That's something that you'll need to think about.
