Just bought my first Bic, a 270 Saxo, and looking for feedback/tips from former or previous Saxo owners. Any input would be appreciated. Im curious as to why these are boards so inexpensive.

They are inexpensive because they are narrow and somewhat heavy compared to the latest stuff, which is exactly why I got one for Rio Vista.

Do you really like it? and, what are your favorite things about the Saxo?

Easy to sail, tough and enough weight to stay on the water. Also comfortable and tracks straight. Not quick to plane, though, in marginal conditions. Goes good when the wind fills in.

The reason they are less expensive is that they are heavier than comparable boards. The sandwich construction is more durable but comes at a cost. I own the same board, which I sail 40-50 times a year. I am an advanced sailor and I love it. I have no complaints.
