MAGA!
Apple made a HUGE announcement today: It’s hiring 20,000 people AND it’s contributing $350 Billion to our economy and it’s all thanks to the tax bill! All great news! I’ve said it MANY times on this show, the tax bill is great – BUT, the President and Republican lawmakers should’ve and could’ve done more, especially when it comes to the carried interest loophole! According to some estimates, if we close this loophole – which basically lets PRIVATE EQUITY FAT CATS to get taxed at a lower rate – we can save $180 BILLION over 10 years! And you know what we can do with that money – BUILD A WALL! And turns out, the President CAN close this loophole without Congress’ approval – So Mr. President, CLOSE this loophole and BUILD THAT WALL! |

they would have been hiring that many people in that 5 year time period anyway. their new campus planned and started years ago is soon to be completely moved in.
didn't walmarts sams club just cut that many for this year? _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

The press has reached an all time low SW and deserved to be criticized and exposed for the partisan hacks they have become.
Who holds the press accountable? Why are they beyond criticism? Doesn't freedom of speech apply to all?
I find it astonishing that people will justify the presses flat out lies and gross exaggerations in the name of ratings and business model.
You do realize that Obama as recently as last week has called FOX news "news for people from another planet". He did this on a regular basis when president but I don't recall anyone on the left saying how dangerous and wrong it was.......HYPO-CRATES |

settle down Tiger...Carried interest is $18B over ten years , not $180 B....
And BTW - Apple hired 50,000 people over the past 5 years, so they are actually SLOWING their hiring... |

Get it straight. They are paying $38B in taxes in order to repatriate the cash held overseas, the rate is 15.5%....so you do the math, its a financial bonanza for Apple...look for massive buybacks and increased dividends. Apple is the LEAST capital constrained company in US history, so any expansion, or hiring is in the normal course of doing business.. You can thank Steve Jobs and Tim Cook for creating a product that costs $1,000, and sheeple will line up overnight to buy it. |

So it's a bad thing? or are you just incapable of admitting it's a good thing. |

No, I didn't say that...But analysis of past repatriation events shows that its neither bad or good....Matty, there's no free lunch on Wall Street, you should know that. |

All it takes is an anecdote, started by Fox and Friends--which is occasionally correct--and tweeted by Agent Orange while he is avoiding work--to get Malibu's panties wet. Perhaps someday they will realize why we study statistics, and that Trump lies about 5 times a day. |
