The Evolution Large from BIC is a different board from the Techno 273, 283, or 293. It has a double concave bottom and bevelled rails, a rounder outline, a wave/rounded deck, and a thin and narrow tail; these are all design characteristics tailored to an easy handling board. I ran the demos for BIC at the Gorge Windfest, and the testers liked the board in lighter winds (i.e. 6.0 and bigger). At 135L, theres plenty of volume, but the board still feels small and snappy. I hope this information helps. If you are in San Francisco this week or next week, try the board at the ASI Demo Tour either July 10-11, or July 17-18. Call 415-258-9283 for more info. |
