I agree windoggie. My grandfather died trying to rid the Earth of them. Why are the allowed to congregate back in society? A simple law would do the trick. Dont we have laws for lessor agreesions? Promotion of buying and selling humans or ridding the country of a race seems a little wrong. Sorry to keep this thread alive in the windsurfing section but windogggies response is right on. Ignore them? How about some new legislation to keep them off our beaches. Happy sailing. |

Just planning for the event....
Upper or lower mast piece?
RDM or standard?
Aluminum mast base or carbon?
Any ideas appreciated! _________________ /w\ |

Just kidding-ish. I live in Berkeley so we're going to have our hands full in a couple of weeks. _________________ /w\ |

Crissy Field is as good place to fight as any I guess. It is getting ridiculous though, like some sort of twisted Renaissance Faire, or neo-Civil War enactment.
Maybe a Burning Man made of cannabis should be lit upwind of the crowd, to calm them the f**k down.
What happens on the internet should stay on the internet! When sh*t manifests in the real world it's pretty lame.
That being said, these ideas on how windsurfers could dress for battle are cracking me up. Maybe we can go against kiters, masts and booms, versus piano wire and inflatable bladders. Both sides have foils now so watch out, heads could roll! (see this lame scenario best stays on the internet, or be limited to just Waddell, ha ha)

Crissy Field will be closed to vehicles and bicycles on August 26. There will be no parking and major road closures. If you plan to visit on foot, there is a long list of prohibited items, which makes it unlikely you would be let in with your gear so we recommend against that. All people entering at the Marina Boulevard gate will be screened.
If you would like to see the full list of restricted items, road closures, and safety plans, please scroll down to the FAQs on this page: https://www.nps.gov/goga/first-amendment-permits.htm |

Isn't this the Patriots Prayer event you're talking about? Or what exactly is it?
As a matter of fact,I just researched it. The website specifically rejects any entry by KKK, white supremacists, white nationals, or rable trousers in military garb.
Furthermore, all the event speakers are black, Hispanic, Samoan and Asian.
Where do you get your news? |

In addition, the gist from the Chronicle: "The National Park Service said Wednesday that a controversial right-wing rally will be allowed to go forward Saturday at park-managed Crissy Field in San Francisco and advised the public to steer clear.".
