Help with directions to Pine Point ME, sailing location..

Is a shop in Seabrook, NH .. have a phone number no address?

Any tips, like last few years of NH sites ?

Preference on wind direction / location? This for August.

U2
Come to cape cod
Or keep going and head up to pei

No idea about Maine or nh windsurfing
It might be worlds best kept secret
Or not happening at all.

PEI for a few days is on the bucket list this year. If the stars are aligned I may get a day or 2,in southern Maine, and or NH.

Greatly appreciated the info. I looked for a recent post of yours to pm you.

I will be traveling to Calais , mid August or so. I may if the wind looks encouraging get to sail in Portland, area, or NH.

PM sent.
Cheers

Kittery to Portland coastal seems to be where you see ws. Up in my area in Bangor you see none but I stick to lakes of which there are many, some good, some bad but all have public access points. Winds in August are almost always s/sw picking up in the PM, if a cold front drops in from canada you will get n/nw but more in fall/spring.

For salt I have sailed in the upper penobscot bay as this is a hot spot for traditional sailing with belfast, rockport, camden, etc. You can easily put in in many areas and sail towards isleboro, castine, blue hill, etc but can get changing conditions fast. The water will be peaking on temps in august / sept but still pretty chilly. There are approx 10+- hypothermia deaths each year on both salt and fresh (mostly kayakers) so I tend to wear wetsuits year round even on the lakes. The further east you roll, the more wilder the coast gets and the tides will run 10-20ft variance. You generally only see sailboats downeast though. Calais is inland and while you pass a fair amount of lakes my favorites are near the ellsworth area (tunk lake is super clean and beautiful).

Appreciate the info.

Meddybemps Lake, obvious not epic, but at times entertaining. Mostly Formula and large sails.

Thanks
