Watching Sunday. Winds are trending up. If I go, it will probably be White's or Delta Park.

I was checking the 12z NAM 3k model run. Looks like a nice core of wind just off of Ausable Point. Does anyone sail there?

Hey all, great weekend on the Lake! Hope you had fun, too!

I sailed "Les Roches" in Plattsburgh on Friday. Started off on 4.5 and ended up on a 3.6 with nice waves out in the middle of the bay, but it was pretty flat near shore for some reason. Still a ton of fun. There's a clip up on the Wind-NC facebook/instagram sites of a well powered back slapping forward Laughing

Then I took the family over to Plattsburgh again yesterday and did a downwinder from the Rocks to the State Park Beach. Sailed a 5.0. It was pretty fun to take a tour of the area and get a feel for the different spots. There was WAY less wind down at the beach yesterday, but it was pretty easy to see how fun the setup would be on a nuking day.

There were lots of people out sailing on both days. Probably about 15 on Friday, and the parking was full on Sunday at Les Roches. Fun to see so many happy, pumped up people! Good sailors, too- saw lots of loops, freestyle moves, and wave slashing going on. Great scene over there, but I'm going to have to learn some French I think! Laughing

Glad you were able to make it over to Plattsburgh. There is some really good sailing here.
Our Chamber of Commerce was able to add a Plattsburgh stop to the AWT schedule, a few years back. Was billed as a clinic and it was to show outsiders what we have up here. Naturally it was calm for the whole event.
