mat-ty, blaming the 4 American deaths in Benghazi on Hillary Clinton is specious at best. I think that you're forgetting that the House Republican investigations into Clinton came up with nothing noteworthy, much less culpable or criminal in nature. I think that you're just high on right wing nonsense. |

NW--I worked with the FBI on investigations of a corrupt politician. It took 5 years, but he ultimately went to jail. Don't wet your pants that Trump hasn't been indicted yet--he is so crooked he will be buried with a screwdriver, |
I was going to use one of swchandler's posts to respond, but I like yours better.
You guys might want to read this and consider it, it's from somebody from the liberal side, not one of the sites you love to quote as being an only source of those to the right of you.

Key Democratic Officials Now Warning Base Not to Expect Evidence of Trump/Russia Collusion
Glenn Greenwald March 16 2017, 8:41 a.m. [take note, 4 days ago]
From MSNBC politics shows to town hall meetings across the country, the overarching issue for the Democratic Party’s base since Trump’s victory has been Russia, often suffocating attention for other issues. This fixation has persisted even though it has no chance to sink the Trump presidency unless it is proven that high levels of the Trump campaign actively colluded with the Kremlin to manipulate the outcome of the U.S. election — a claim for which absolutely no evidence has thus far been presented.
The principal problem for Democrats is that so many media figures and online charlatans are personally benefiting from feeding the base increasingly unhinged, fact-free conspiracies — just as right-wing media polemicists did after both Bill Clinton and Obama were elected — that there are now millions of partisan soldiers absolutely convinced of a Trump/Russia conspiracy for which, at least as of now, there is no evidence. And they are all waiting for the day, which they regard as inevitable and imminent, when this theory will be proven and Trump will be removed.
For the rest~

NW30, so I guess you're thinking that the Russian's covert involvement and intrusion in the 2016 elections is only considered to be a problem by Democrats in Congress.
What do congressional Republicans feel about the investigation? Well, nothing was offered in the one dimensional article you presented. Kind of an astonishing omission don't you think?

It's no big surprise that Trump's false accusations targeting former President Obama cannot be substantiated, but you still seem to think Trump has a winning hand. Yet, sooner or later, you'll have to finally admit that Trump has nothing but BS to offer as evidence. He deliberately fabricated an untrue story as a distraction, and then shamelessly lied to the world. That can't help him in the long run. |
Keep dreaming old fool. Comey said they have found no evidence at this point.
THAT DOESNT MEAN IT DIDNT HAPPEN. If you still think Trumps Tweet was nor effective you are beyond delusional. |
It took about 5 years to nail Nixon, and as it turns out the FBI knew about it and did nothing. But one FBI agent afraid for his life went and told reporters. But even telling the reporters directly took years. If the Nixon tapes had not been found all those CIA and guys would have gotten away too. Even with the tape with Nixon saying to pay off people directly and families to keep their silence to this day idiot right wingers still do not believe he did anything illegal. But they never listened to the Nixon tapes...
Note that FBI agent as concerned about his life to the day he died he did not allow his name to be revealed. Thats how dangerous the right wingers are. No different than Russian right wingers ex-kgb.
We need a special prosecutor... again if the right wing gets one for Jimmy Carters peanut farm, well there is so much more here in all directions. _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

Interesting essay: http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/03/20/are-liberals-on-the-wrong-side-of-history
A few pithy pieces:
Quote: | Perhaps Tocqueville’s most brilliant insight (and Mishra, to his credit, cites it) was that revolutions are produced by improved conditions and rising expectations, not by mass immiseration. As Louis C.K. says, right now everything is amazing and nobody is happy. Each citizen carries on her person a computer more powerful than any available to a billionaire two decades ago, and many are using their devices to express their unbridled rage at the society that put them in our pockets.
Is this the age of anger? Mishra’s title, and coinage, echoes W. H. Auden’s “Age of Anxiety,” the name for the post-A-bomb forties and fifties—which reappear comically in the new accounts as a heyday of middle-class buoyancy and social mobility. All times, save the most catastrophic, like all people, save the most depraved, are mixed. Ours seem more mixed than most. Any account of the new American atavism has to take into account that the same system that produced Trump had immediately before given us the eight forward-looking years of Obama, who remains a far more popular figure than his successor.....
The famous injunction to “cultivate our garden” means just that: make something happen, often with your hands. It remains, as it was meant to, a reproach to all ham-fisted intellects and deskbound brooders. Getting out to make good things happen beats sitting down and thinking big things up. |

Perhaps a good thing from all of this will be that one day we get to watch All the President's Men II and Frost/Trump and tell our kids that we were there when it all happened. |

Hey all you Fox News viewers, it looks like the "Judge" Napolitano has been benched for making a bogus claim on air, blaming British intelligence on the bogus Trump Tower wiretapping story. A few cats here referenced the highly credible "Judge" when making the argument, oh well...just more of the same, carry on.... |

The judge is definitely a strait shooter, and there is no way he would have said that if he did not believe it was true IMO. I think he jumped the gun and is not ready to reveal his sources.
Nice to see a network who holds their commentators accountable, If CNN had the same standards they would have no one to host their shows. |
