I'm thinking about a 1 or 1:30 start today Friday at Horseneck. Low tide then. Wind already blowing WNW 20 since 6 am, blew SE 30 all night so there should be some manageable swell.
Not bad
Wind 42-52. But mostly 42
Set waves had some spice size
Light inside for orcas
Ion always clean rides
A bit on the chilly side _________________ Read this

Wind cranked at pt Judith, 4.2/4.7 but waves died as the swell shifted sw. BI buoy at 10ft from the South lured me in. Bumpy with swell at 10am turned into just bumpy. I think Horseneck was the correct call. HN an extra hour drive for me, need to remember to go there for W-WNW wind SW swell.

HN kind of looked like that on the out side.
Since it is a beach break the best wave rides are at the beach.
2 or 3 turns on the inside then back out.
Some of the set wave will form a bit further out but the first one was an ugly mess. wave face with knee high chop.
Second and third set wave was better. _________________ Read this
