Did anyone get Chesapeake Bay action today? I noted the wind from my office window and hoped someone was enjoying it. I'll settle for living vicariously through any summaries of the day.

Stayed consistent all day |
I'd make that 4 days, Sunday - Wednesday. Even today had readings in the 20s for much of the day at West Island, Hatch Beach, Point Judith, and Fogland.

Awesome. Glad to know a bunch of folks rode the gradients. Hoping to join some of the Chesapeake/Potomac locals these upcoming weekends. Cape sessions will have to wait for August.

Dewey/RehobothBay was nuking with 25-30kt. A dozen sailors showed up, with up to 5-6 on the water at any one time. Overpowered on 4.5 early PM, down to well-powered towards the end of the day. Kiters started rolling in once it eased off a bit.

It has been nuking in Hatteras! And oddly enough a lot of the bigger days have been lining up on the weekends so there have been lots of weekend warriors catching it. Today is looking like a classic SW afternoon, its already blowing about 20 at 11am, so it should be cranking by 2 or 3!
Here are a few pics from the last few days- looping on a 4.0 last weekend, and having some fun on the tandem with 5.7s on the 8th!

Three of us out on the Delaware Bay in Lewes with 4.0 - 4.5. One broke his mast flat landing a jump and had a long, rolling paddle back to shore.
Yesterday was almost a carbon copy. Quite a treat to get two days in the 30's within one week.
