Hi Candlestick sailors. FYI, yesterday a local fisherman complained to several of us that people were sailing upwind of the western-most pier (the pier that is closed) and disrupting their fishing. He was quite upset. In the interest of maintaining good relations, it seems to make sense to consider avoiding that area or at least keeping an eye out for potential fisherman. They used to fish downwind of where we launch but they moved away from there and well upwind (which is a good thing for us). |

I think they are all along the shore there at various times.
Don't know that I would want to eat any fish from the bay
due to Mercury content.
I haven't seen them west of the launch site very much .
The thing is when the wind drops its pretty hard to get in
at the launch.
And those of us that Windsurf there have been using it in
the same manner for decades. |
