Yea man lean the rig forward towards
the nose and pull the board under your
butt with your feet.You must get the sail to push the nose off the wind
hence
lean the rig forward.

Thanks for the rhetorical questions. Ill try getting my hands closer to the clew and commit to the clew-first position....You wouldnt happen to be Derek, would you? I took your Dewey Beach clinic last October. Learned alot, and now giving myself some time to work on stuff before taking the next one. Maybe Bonaire, in the winter, if thats still on. Interesting what he said, but good idea to practice with small sail. Try it with a wave sail, cause they use a shorter boom and hence, they are easier to control clue first or mast first.... have fun |
