Hello all,
I am putting together a special photo issue and would love get some "reader" submissions. Please send only high resolution images that you think deserve to be shown off to windsurfers across the US and Canada to pete@windsurfingnowmag.com. Also include text regarding where the shot was taken, name of the photographer and a brief caption about the photo.
Cheers,
Pete DeKay

Pete-
The first issue is brilliant! Love the clean look, and there's so much good stuff. Love the shot of Kaden P.
The N. American windsurfing population is stoked to have Windsurfing Now! |

That first issue has so much content it should be called Windsurfing Wow! Great stuff, and let me say you really captured the flavor of the Grand Slam. I will subscribe as soon as the website is up. |

The website is up! I am now able to process subscriptions and would love your support.
Please feel free to email me at pete@windsurfingnowmag.com with any questions, comments, ideas, etc. I need your feedback to make a mag you want to read...plus I'm bringing back a "Letter to the Editor" page.
Thanks,
Pete DeKay

Windsurfing Now is on my list of what I want (and will receive) for this Christmas! And I hope for many more.
I also look forward to buying a Windsurfing Now calendar, especially in a format that has a montage of photos on each page like the Vela insert. It might be too late for printing a 2016 calendar, but let me mention the Vela brochure which came with the magazine has enough pages to make an excellent calendar and then we would all have a reason for keeping it and displaying it throughout the whole year.
A "Gallery" subject I want to see is a montage sequence of the starting line of any race covering about the first 15-30 seconds or longer. I would like to see one or several of those in every issue. A photo of the first finisher could be included in that montage.
Special thanks for the How-To articles, another feature I hope is in all issues.
Special thanks for the excellent article & photos featuring Jerome Sampson, USWA president.
I'm enjoying the whole magazine. |
