It's tons of fun and you'll become a better sailor for sure.

Sign up for a single race or the whole series but the savings end on May 23rd.
See you on the water for this historic event.
Slalom is her to stay.

Our first race of the 2015 season is this Friday- May 29 at the St.FYC. followed by the Crissy Field Slalom Series on Saturday May 30th
There will be both A and B fleet racing so even if you don't have any experience racing- there will be others like you - enjoying slalom racing for the 1st time or the hundredth time around the buoys. Look for a competitors briefing at crissy field near the windsock at 5pm on Friday afternoon and a 1st possible start at 5:30 and on Saturday at 2pm with a 1st possible start at 3pm. You can register as a drop in for any night or for the season for both series.
We're looking for volunteers to help for both Friday night and Saturday afternoon regardless if you're racing in the series or not. Contact me at usa4windsurfing @ gmail dot com to sign up.
See you on the starting line,
Steve Bodner

Thanks to all of the sponsors, competitors, volunteers and organizers, the first Crissy Field Slalom Series event of the season went off this Saturday May 30.
We had 40 competitors spread across 2 fleets, A PRO setting the course (thanks Robbie Dean!) and enough wind to run 11 heats across the 2 fleets.
This was a real eye opener for us organizers as we had no idea that there would be this much interest and that there would be this many racers lurking in the wings, waiting for the right event format in order to make a showing...
I want to thank the volunteers specially. They all gladly gave up their day, so that we could make this event a success. We couldn't do it without you: Mike Smith and Kipps Zygarewicz directing traffic on the beach. Dianne Younger and David Mertens on the race deck. Lyrah Colvin, Stephanie Carullo, Micha Kenneally, Daniel Won, running logistics and taking some amazing photos.
Special thanks to D'Arcy Doyle for the last minute use of his boat! Robbie Dean and Adam Withington for setting the marks and running the show from the start boat! And all of the competitors for showing up, racing and making it look awesome.
The main event website is here if you want to sign up for the 3 remaining races of the season:

The results can be found here:

Lots of amazing photos from the event here:

See you all at the end of June for the next one!
