Hey Gang,

Doesn't it drive you crazy when the forecast uses geek talk like "ridge" when explaining the wind patterns. Well to see a dramatic illustration of what a ridge looks like and how it it will impact the wind and weather from the Gorge to La Ventana today and tomorrow see this animated blog.

Hey Mike,

I've noticed that this type pattern tends to provide 5-6M wind
at Lake Mohave Between Southern Nevada and Arizona.

Hope the early season is treating you well.

Hi Craig,

I would expect Mohave to blow in this pattern and San Felipe, Baja Norte should be good today. This bit of NW wind you see in the animation curving across northern Baja is blocking any El Norte from reaching Baja's East Cape.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Hatch and The Wall this summer.

Mike
