I sailed the last three days without anything for extra traction and blew three or four good jibes due to slipping. So frustrating. Yesterday was great at viento, but I was the only windsurfer out there almost the entire time. I don't like it crowded, but it is nice to have at least a few fellow sailors. Lots of SUPpers launching for the downwinders to HR, though.

I stopped by NSI yesterday and bought some waffle pattern pad. Going to put it on the board today.

Pulled a Homer Simpson. . .
Decided to make a two piece template for the traction pad. . . Left and right . . . Should be mirror images, but in flipped the template over to the wrong side when making the left half and ended up with two identical pieces not a mirror image pair

Doh!

I'll have to go back to NSI next time
