Any of you Cape Cod sailors get out yesterday? We had some overpowered fun in Vineyard Sound before retreating back into Waquoit Bay yesterday. Big swells with the SE wind going against a strong flood.

West Dennis was nice, with somewhere between 5 and 10 windsurfers out. A few guys were at Kalmus, where Graham put on a show to make them forget that ESE is not a good direction for Kalmus.

Yesterday afternoon at Kalmus was great. Would have been great for loops in front, but we went to Egg Island for a flatwater freestyle session instead. Almost perfect on 4.7 & 6.5.
The computer model forecast yesterday afternoon was near 10, the "daily briefing" 10-14. Both ignored the sea breeze completely. Today's setup looks like a repeat, except that computer models predict 15. Saturday looks promising, too. With water temps around 70 and air in the mid-70s, the sea breeze comes in nicely, even in the middle of August!
