The board looks pretty wide, if it's around 30", I'd try to sell it as a Standup Paddle / windsurfing board, might get more attention and interest that way.

I've got a 32" wide x 8' 10" board, and I don't paddle in circles.
Just sayin', as my ex used to say.

Given the local windsurfing population I would venture to say you might get $500-$600 for it. The Austin Club might buy it if they are still doing their annual promotion each year where they try to get people on the water. We have a group of windsurfers in College Station and we sometimes bring beginner gear out to let curious onlookers have some fun, or even take a lesson if they want to.

If you don't have any luck selling it and don't plan on learning yourself, send me a message and I'll buy it for $300.00 and use it to let interested people play around or take a lesson. I can pick it up or meet somewhere between Austin & College Station.

Good Luck,
Mike

The board has some minor scratches on the sides and some spots where the plastic shell has been chipped. None of them look major.

The sail looks like it has crinkles in it. I'm not sure if that's normal.

Otherwise it all looks to be in pretty good shape. I'm watching youtube videos now, trying to figure out how it all goes together.

The GO is a learner/started board. You have all components to make ONE rig
aside from the fin bolts, tricky, take the fin to Home Depot and fit the screws to the fin, the tricky part is getting the correct length to go thru the deck into the fin, also need washers, both metal and rubber be desirable.

low side 750---

1000 top. Its possible you could split up the sail mast, boom, board, mast foot and extension to sell off separately.

I would post on craigslist Corpus Christi and the buy/sell on here.

shipping would be very $$ for this board, but EBay local pick up a possibility.

I had one of these boards. Sails really well. Once I got past the beginner stage, I used it as a super lightwind board with a Windwing 9.8 Formula sail (which I can't seem to get rid of, along with a 520 mast for it). It planed in almost nothing with that sail.
and, it worked great for LWFS.
of course, nowadays, I won't sail with anything bigger than a 7.5. lol

Thank you all very much for the input. The windsurfing community seems very nice and incredibly helpful! If I get into windsurfing I will be sure to come back here.

Time to start trying to sell it! Happy sailing y'all!

Contact Mariner Sails in Dallas. They have two or three swap meets a year and there are lots of buyers. Check in is normally required in advance of the Saturday swap meet, but you may be able to swing a deal since you will be coming from Austin. They usually begin at 10:00 but if you arrived by 8:30-9, you could check in then. Prices for your set up could go as high as $700, but more likely around $500.

Volunteers do the selling so gear is matched to buyers skills. You would have to decide if you want to sell it as a package or by piece.

Normally there are at least 20-25 boards for sale, 20+ sails, dozen booms and masts and a bunch of other gear.
