From the photo it looks like there is very little screw head to grab hold of. Squaring off the head takes about 2 seconds and would improve your bite ten fold. It would also help the WD penetrate into the screw area.. |

oh well, just speaking from experience... it worked fine for me on several occasions. but then I'm a professional tool... user... penetrating oil doesn't give a shit about the shape.. |

Sorry for trying to be helpful gobbdogg. You apparently are the tool master.
That was stupid of me to suggest two very common ways to deal with a stripped screw head. I heard duct tape makes great hinges also... |

I dont know gobbdogg I always heard penetrating oil likes to sit on and penetrate a flat surface way better than it likes to penetrate a round surface. Its like the earth. If it were round the water would just flow off the edges and into outer space. LOL |
