If I steal JE's gear for a run at Forest and see if I can remember how to chuck a forward will I be more welcome here?

Must be tough to find optimum windsurfing destinations. So much simpler with a kite. Or does anyone go for that flat water trickery they do in Bonaire?

Angry,
I got $50 Cold hard cash if you get it going around.
I will raise another 200 from the Abide Program....probably borrow from the Junior Achiever Breakfast Fund

Doesn't have to be pretty...we realize it's been a while.

Only catch is that it has to be on Clew View....and if you get her going, I will make JE take "The Crash" down from you tube.

Welcome Back.

Wow!
Didn't think i would get so many PM's on this Kiter Challenge.!!!

So far the responses are pretty much spilt between the "Let the kiters die on the vine" camp, and the "Great idea!" bunch.

My rational is simple.......anything we can do to get these folks to try the new gear....is worth it....they all switched to airbags right before everything went all twitchy carbon

Go to any SUP forum..... "I used to windsurf, and now that i have a SUP, i want to find a rig and try it again"

So maybe we should expand the Kiter Challenge

Alright, challenge accepted. JE, can I borrow your rig and Clew View?

I might wear a helmet. Geez, I'm kinda nervous - it's only been 11 years since last chuck. Is it like riding a bike?

Really, you got responses on a kiter challenge? Why would anyone respond in the negative? Still so much hatred?! Such brats. I would love it if a windsurfer decided to take up kiting and threw a handlepass straight out.

Jump first, then pull or pull first then jump, dam I can't remember?

You castle jumpers have such clever trick names!"A Handlepass Straight"?
I think I saw some of you types doing that in the woods at K-mart...or maybe you were helping a fellow kook pump up a leaky bladder.

I'd really like to see that neat beaching trick of yours over by the new cut.
The landlords would love it! We can call it an "Angry Fin".

P.S. Planed for 4 solid hours yesterday in Salem Sound... A real Hoot-Nanny! STOKE RESTORED!
Razz Razz

Now now....Be nice....I don't want to have to pay more then $50 for a loop vid.

I actually know the Angry to be fairly normal if slightly misdirected....and I wouldn't be able to do a handle- pass with my bum shoulder at present

(There actually were no PM responses....but he took the bait, so no foul)

PSC is OK.
Coming from 5 trips another 6 hours S, it's remedial, boring, and very limited.
MikeWaltze and Matt used to fly into that other spot.
There are over 5 points sticking out like fingers, 2 more NW by 3 miles, and some possibilities up past Hips
If you ever get a head high day at FedMarine, you will never look at PSC the same way again. It's HOLLOW wave wave riding, like CaboVerde.
