Got an awesome present from the wind-god for my birthday yesterday! I was gonna be happy to take the afternoon off and sail my 6.2 and 120l. FSW board, but the gradient moved east faster than expected and we got a solid three hours of 20-30 mph warm south winds, so I rigged my 5.4 and my 87l. FSW board and sailed until it quit around 7:30 pm. It was soooooooo nice to finally sail in just shorts in Carribean-warm water after the achingly cold spring we’ve had. I even made my first stall-jibe!
Afterwards, the kiters invited me to drink beers and grill brats in the parking lot until it got dark. : )
