Berkeley 5.8 for most of the afternoon, with a quick board change down to 80 liters around 4.
Strange how the area just S of the Lordship can be light and holey, while half way S and past kitebeach, it can gust to close to 30.

AL just so nice. Days of op 4.2/70L and then today 4.7/84L with head high sets, glassy faces, and the ocean water color was just amazing.

Did the longest ever slog in a long while (possibly ever). Out with my 85L (bad choice) and 6.0 Firelight I slog all the way way after the second buoy where I finally start planing. Tack and never regain planing. I make the last beach landing at Coyote by 20 yards. Getting ready for a longish walk to bring the car to the location ... and the wind comes up ... powered to well powered up until I stop just before 6:00 with the wind still going.

Great day at Coyote. Rather weak inside but nicely powered up with 5.0 from mid way the two first buoys, and the outside markers.
Beautiful, sunny and with a nice swell ... a jumping ground

Strangely only four people at TI yesterday (Saturday) Wind ranged from a light 18 or so near the ramp to a happy 30 at Angel Island. Nice rollers 2/3 the way there. About perfect conditions.
Today?, not so much.
