What an incredible life. Not all of us have the courage to live as well as he did. There is so much to cherish.

I am so sorry for you and your families loss. I met Fred through the CGWA, and he was such a joy to be around. He will be missed.

Fred was one of the first locals we met on our first trip in The Gorge, year 2000. On the first no wind day, he took us on a road trip on the coast, so we could discover the beauty of Oregon.

A very fine, generous and energetic man.

Our condolences to the family.

Sylvie and Guy

Thor,

You're Dad was among the first friends I made when I moved to Oregon over 20 years ago and was always kind to me.

We all should appreciate everything he did to make windsurfing in The Gorge more accessible, safe, and comfortable.

I hope Fred is in a more comfortable place now. I know he'll make friends wherever he goes!

R.I.P. Fredinator! Smile

Fred was a good example of a positive attitude. He did a lot to improve windsurfing in the Gorge, and I liked meeting him. Glad to hear he died with loved ones around him.
RIP

I remember joining Fred and co. at several CGWA work parties. His enthusiasm was contagious - such positive vibes! Sorry to hear; best wishes to your family.

I'm sure he will still be challenging the elements wherever he is.
