I made the mistake of buying a couple Nasih Sprints. Talk about garbage. Gutless.

Naish is my idol but he probably doesn't even test the sails anymore. Boards are some real crap too. Too much attention on the kites.

Leed said it best. My Sprints work fine.

My heavy buddy got some of them 'Sailworks' and he has me by over 60lb. Now we are on the same size????????? Shocked How they measure? Shocked

Not to disparage. I would love them too.

If you've been riding wave sails, which are designed flatter to enhance their ability to de-power on a wave, your buddy will be able to ride a smaller size. Sailworks sails are known for their low-end power, which gets you going. Even the Revolution wave sail has quite a bit of low-end power for it's size. If your buddy got Huckers, even more so. That's just one of the many reasons us big guys (I'm 215#) love our Sailworks.

"Power is nothing without control", a Sailworks mantra.

Before the shitstorm starts, that's just applied graphics, NOT a sail design change.

I.e., decorations adding cost and complexity. Nothing wrong with that, but when people are aghast at gear prices ...

If by acid you are referring to the color panels in the 2013 and 2014 Ezzys, I like them. They are not just for looks, since they are very light weight material with good tear and puncture resistance. They look good too IMHO, and seem to draw the eyes of photographers.

As for Sailworks being the best sails ever… That's also a matter of opinion. Today's sails are all good designs with years of testing and knowledge behind them. The materials are better than ever and the rig components are also leaps and bounds beyond the days of the grey Ampro masts and tie on booms. I've owned many brands over the years. Sails built after the early 90's when designers figured out head twist can still be ridden and enjoyed. Deriding other brands to feel better about what you ride is a waste of time, which is better spend ripping.

I agree with Zirtab that above all else the PILOT matters most. Wasn't it Mike Waltz who literally sailed a door in the 80's to make just that point?
