Fellow windsurfers,

Camp Cody (NH) is looking to hire a great windsurfing instructor for our program.

Would anyone be interested in becoming our windsurfing counselor? We provide a great salary, plus free room and board to all of our summer staff.

THIS WILL BE THE BEST SUMMER OF YOUR LIFE!

If you or anyone you know is interested in hearing more about this opportunity, please pass this message along.

Hey Iso, that's a Maine accent ,not upstate NY. That said, I spent the summer of '85 in Oswego, there was wind and swell for a couple days, but it was sort of an anomaly as the rest of that summer was pretty light. Nice for boat sailing though, but , hey the temp was pleaseant not unlike the the summer in Pacific NW, so what's with that, whats not to like?

Nuthin'. I enjoyed all of upstate NY's seasons. When people asked me how I stood the winters (we saw 35 below F and thought nothing of it), my honest answer was simply, "I bought a coat". I often rode my dirt bike to work because it went through fresh thigh-high snow better than my car did. One dresses for the occasion (except I had to be in uniform weekdays).
