yeah dude....i'm still with the hood.
might loose the gloves soon, and a long way to go to loose the boots.
just 15 degrees of wind shift, and i might have been good, but the dunes were knocking the wind down to glass inside.
glad you got some

Yea, notice the ride! I got some of that Sealion action too up in Nags Head, but no photos since I am always solo in town (well actually attached photo of conditions before I went out, but without action it does not do it justice). Definitely need to look at the SoloShot Andy has at WindNC for possible capture ops in Nags Head.
Next few days look good for return of S winds, but not sure if surf will hold?!
At least the time of year is finally here!

Glass inside is perfect reason for light air SUP sailing with kit such as Sealion or related. Nags Head has exact same setup and its rare to use standard kit due to dirty/no wind inside from ocean front houses during typical SSW days. But with the Lion, no problem, and once in the surf zone where spray is exiting the tops, well....!

Ok, I'll fess up...Could have supped it, but only had small kit, and the real truth is that i had nobody else to play with, and i am tired of climbing in and out of a damp 5/4/3 with a bad shoulder in 40degree water and 47 degree air. Jealous of the bootie-free!
Would love try a SeaLion someday.
Revenge is on tap for today....smaller waves, but sun, and the wind is already setting up. JE/PK?
