First solid, warm, windy sub-5.0 day of the year and I sail like I'm never gonna get it again. Now, it's 8:15 pm and I'm ready to keel over with muscle-sore-agony-fatigue-middle-age-happy-I-sailed-spent-exhaustion.
......thinking about sailing again tomorrow. _________________ Kansas City |

Yes - similar situation happened to me this past Friday. First warm wave sailing day of the year - beautiful conditions! Was so into the moment I lost track of time and realized I wasn't going to be home in time to meet my son at the bus stop after school. Had to call my wife who called our sitter to go meet him - she was not happy. But I was very happy and satisfied! |

I often feel stronger and sail harder as dusk approaches simply because I know it will end soon and tomorrow never comes.
It's when tomorrow becomes today and it's still blowing that will power becomes an issue. |

Bred2shred - we sailed at the south end of Seaside (the old Top of the Mast Motel/Bar). Conditons were really nice - slighlty side off southwesterly wind & mellow waist high waves. Overcast but warm. A few kiters were out too.
