You're right. He's not that kind of man.
He's smart. Instead of continuing to bomb Iraq, he got us out of Bush/Cheney's total mess.
He's getting us out of Afghanistan.
He got bin Laden.
He's getting WMDs out of Syria.
He's negotiating a nuclear agreement with Iran.
He's slowly improving the US economy and job situation that totally crashed in 07-08, during the Bush/Cheney Reign of Error.
You're right -- he's just not the kind of man to store tomatoes for a rainy day. But don't despair, Mr. B. Obama won't miss your vote in 2016.

Actually, I agree with you, trying to change government in places like Iraq and Afghanistan is fool hardy.
No, he just gave the go ahead after the hard work of the conservatives and military.

Anyone thinking that the job situation is any better is a fool. There are more people sitting on the sideline now than at any time during the recovery. |

The typical liberal fall back when they have nothing to counter in a discussion.
Prove me (not Fox) wrong and I will be happy to concede the point(s). |

It's not that they're right or wrong, but that they're taken out of context or distorted for partisan rhetorical purposes.
For example:
You withhold credit from Obama for getting bin Laden. In your world, would he get credit ONLY if he actually pulled the trigger?
Somehow, in your minds, Obama's successful operation is credited to Bush. And yet, every thinking person really DOES give Obama credit for that -- except for Karl Rove, who invented that specious talking point. It was a military operation, and as you know, Obama is in charge.
What if the operation had failed? Would you find fault with Bush for poor planning? Not for an instant. It would have been Obama's fault.
Just like all those "Obama phones," a program that started under Reagan, was expanded under Clinton, and moved to cell phones under Bush. And yet, in your distorted bubble world, Obama's at fault for cell phones.
It's all rhetorical bullshit, and you well know it.
Another example...
The program to remove and destroy WMDs from Syria -- you claim it's not successful because it's "only 10% complete." Does that make it an Obama failure?
Not at all. It's an ongoing program that's partially complete.
But somehow, the rabid righties, like you, struggle to find or justify some kind of failure (where none exists) in everything successful that Obama does.
It really does make you fools into laughingstocks.

Surprised by how tough this winter has been? You’re in good company: Last fall the Climate Prediction Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted that temperatures would be above normal from November through January across much of the Lower 48 states. This graphic shows just how wrong the official forecast of the U.S. government was:

THE FOOLS THAT RUN THIS GOVERNMENT COULDN'T EVEN PREDICT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN 3 MONTHS....THANK YOU AL GORE. |

Just a note of caution about the proclamations of learned world opinion. (The consensus.)
The 'great Storm' of England in Nov 1703, as described by Defoe in his journal, 'The Great Storm 1703', (catchy title, but what else could he call it),is conceeded to be the worst ever weather/climate event to strike us.
It was likely caused by the same Jet Stream driven depression conveyor belt as recently, but followed the warmest July on record, with an average temp of 18.3 degrees centigrade which was well above the mean norm.
(Will continue - slow typer.) |

continued.
The death and destruction exceeded any since, and winds were estimated at over 120 m.p.h. The resultant sea and storm surge destroyed 12 warships (built to tackle any ocean storm conditions) with the loss of 1300 men, swept away the Eddystone lighthouse, and caused devestating flooding with an estimated 8,000 deaths either from drowning, or being struck by 'flying houses.'
Nor was it a single event. A previous storm, weeks before was also dangerous. (Holland suffered badly also.)
My point is that, the learned bodies of the day were unanimous in their belief (consensus) that it was the will of god, and a warning that we should mend our ways. Any 'denier' or sceptic of the time was ridiculed and shouted down as a devil worshipper, or a lunatic.
Fast forward 300 years and the climate change consensus are so certain .... well, no need to say it!
I wonder if, a few centuries further into the future, they will look back and shake their heads at our certainty (the consesnsus) that they knew what they were talking about!
By the way, I note that the cooling prediction has quietly been forgotten, and ignored!! |

No.......... the fools who refuse to acknowledge the variability of local weather as a consequence of the global effects of climate change blame the government and Al Gore for everything.
Gosh, Mr. B., but you really are fun!
