Thanks a lot for the shore-break tips guys. Been getting out and back in this past week with more confidence.

I did visit but did not get to go windsurfing. Thank you to all the folks who wrote. There was just not not enough time with Christmas and familial obligations. I look forward to returning and learning. The Gorge is not the easiest place to learn and I have a lot to learn. It was a very pleasant surprise to learn windsurfing is close to my girlfriend's mom's place and the local windsurfers are so welcoming. Happy New Gear and New Year.

Hi All,

I will be in Jupiter Sat 1/4 through Mon 1/6 and would love to get in some windsurfing, especially some wave sailing if conditions are set up for it. I am from the West coast, taking rights down the line. It seems like northerly winds in the Jupiter area would mean taking lefts down the line; that would be a first for me.

So far, I have had no luck finding rental gear near Jupiter. I would need to rent a harness and what ever wet suit was appropriate as well. I did read through this thread but no rentals found yet. If the wind is lacking, my back up plan is to SUP surf in the area. I did find some SUP rentals in/near Jupiter.

Tnx,

Bob
