Well I'm the second most grandest chap who ever set foot on earth.

I have no faults, never do anything wrong, and carry no ill will to anybody, even those with raging bees in their bonnets.

Except - I hate anybody who is less perfect than myself! (If the cap fits ....)

It's really quite simple, the left wants to control and micro-manage every aspect of your daily lives and economy with more laws, red tape, taxes etc... EXCEPT...... anything to do with sex.
The left wants a complete free for all with anything regarding sex, gay stuff, bestiality, trans whatever, in the street for everyone to see, public nudity, sex on television, sex in public, and especially teach it all to children about how anything goes is the way to go!
Oh yeah and let's suck the babies out of the mothers wombs, grind them up and sell them for cosmetics and call this industry "choice".
And not to be forgotten, demonize Christians yet turn turn a blind eye to any of the outrages perpetrated by muslims upon gays, women, Christians, children, well everyone.

BB, you're so far off course, off base, off center..... that this can ONLY be parody. An excellent start at stupid humor, if a bit misguided, misdirected, and amateurish. And much better than you usually do.

Keep at it! You can only improve from here. Wink

(BTW..... you misspelled "Muslims" above. In your screed, it should be spelled R E P U B L I C A N S.)

I think you are pretty much spot on Isobars. Bible thumpers. I disagree with you in that Hannity and Rush and Fox talk all the time about less government, but ignore the basics I question.

I haven't listened to Rush for more than 15 minutes since the '90s, Hannity IMO is spot-on but too repetitive to listen to more than once in a great while, but "Fox" is a might broad term considering the wide spectrum of their hosts and regular contributors. Some of their hosts are pretty far left (Jeraldo wants open borders), many of their everyday panel members are WAY far ... mindlessly ... left, and many guests are off-the-charts left wing radical extremists. All of those get treated with respect even by O'Reilly *IF* they answer his questions directly, avoid bloviating, and don't attack absent people without proof.

I just roll my eyes and and tune out any literature, hosts, guests, callers, or warm bodies before they're halfway through a scripture quote. I'm not atheist, I'm glad many people find solace in religion (I may want it myself some day), and I don't mind someone using a (very) short scripture phrase as a part of conversation. But citing a bible (or Torah, Koran, etc.) as the absolute, definitive, sole source of truth says only one thing to me: I'm not willing to fully employ my brain because faith is proof in itself. Guidance? Suggestions? Goals? Great; Dr. Laura gave me great respect for the Torah. But Jonah didn't get eaten by -- or at least survive -- no damn whale, Ruth didn't just flash into salt, homesexuality is part of the natural spectrum of humanity (and animals, I've heard) and not a sin, and I'm not going to hell (even if it exists) just because I'm not catholic.

I don't know for a fact whether God chiseled the 10 Commandments or Mary was a virgin, but I do know for a fact that our government is too damn big for its own britches, needs to withdraw at least one entire hand from OUR britches, and very often oversteps or outright violates the intent and/or word of our Constitution. It was intended to limit our federal government's incursion into our lives and established a Republic, not a Democracy. Its authors very strongly warned against democracy, socialism, communism, fascism, monarchy, or any other of the overbearing systems proven so often to fail in large diverse societies based on individual rights. I'd bet my butthole that if Thomas Jefferson had even conceived of political correctness run amuck, he's also have railed again that, too. Why, they might have added a ban on the concept of "being offended" had they seen PC coming.

I get the conservative fiscal argument. Makes sense mostly. But why since they are supposedly the party of freedoms and less government etc., ( I hear that on all the conservative media outlets, all of the time) are they the party telling me who I can and cannot marry (gay Marriage), whether I can have a kid or not (abortion), whether I can serve my country without prejudice, where I can put my church (mosque in TN)? Seems to me these are the most critical of freedoms and "less government" interference? Do I not get something?

A liberal does not necessarily believe in ALL things liberal, just as conservatives do not necessarily believe in ALL things conservative. There are a number of things that many on the right and left agree upon.

Damned right. We can start by downsizing the military, specifically the Air Force. I think we should cancel all Air Force pensions and any disabilities that resulted from flying a desk.

Those freeloaders should go back to work in private industry and earn an honest day's pay.

(How 'bout dem apples, Mikey?)
