Not trying to give you hard time, but what they're doing is exactly what you usually do with your longboards, just on different equipment.

Personal choices abound in our sport. Some people like to plane and jump and sail powered up, others like to have just enough juice to catch a wave and don't mind being horrificly underpowered the rest of the time. I personally switch modes all the time, depending on my mood and conditions of the day/minute.

I see 11, 3 to me are not identifiable, but 1/2 could be Goya or not

I see no 3 batten sails

Now that I paddle board quite a bit in the waves. I find dogging out in the waves much easier than before I got into paddle boarding.
It's all about time on the waves.
Damn it is cold out!!!
