Built a new rack (for even more gear) and I'd hate to see this sturdy one go to waste!

It's made of 1.5" PVC with carpeted shelf tubes and has 4 levels. (see images)

Dimensions are 31" wide x 32" high x 59" long. There are also 2 extensions that stick out about 4" on one side that can hold 2 booms.

It held 2 boards, 5 sails and 2+ booms snuggly. Could use in a van or a garage.

Can pick it up in the Oakland Hills.

My email is: ecotimages@comcast.net

The new rack's construction is pretty much the same except for slightly different dimensions and the use of ABS which as it turns out is like half the weight of the PVC.

Oh and the old rack ended up going to a fellow sailor who by chance also sails out of my regular spot. He was going to build a rack this winter but I guess I beat him to it!

very nice of you to give it away..

nicely done on the workmanship.

by leaving the top rung off at the rear I fit 5 boards on mine, and masts underneath, the bottom rung is elevated to allow.

nice !!

Nice.
Ours is about the same overall dimensions, enough width for a 70cm board.
Inside it, there are 4 boards, 9 sails, 12 masts, 5 booms hanging off the upper sides.
Unfortunately, I can never remember which tubes I PVC glued, and the rack constantly needs constant maintainance.

heh, we could start a perpetual thread on board racks titled "show me your rack"

It's always fun to see other windsurfers' equipment organizational setups... racks, vans, garages, etc...
