Pueno, I am so glad that you are now running the Gestapo. Do you have a list of "approved" reading materials for us? Maybe you like Leni Riefenstahl films for Obama propaganda?

hmmm some are market demand is what is right...what is profitable is what is right for the world/us

Does showing public executions sell and would it have high ratings on TV? Would cutting the hands off of convicted thieves get good ratings? How about torturing terrorists, man you could get astronomical ratings from that...

Did you know that pornography is probably the highest demand so does that mean we allow that free speech on tv and radio?

as far as cable not including porno, that on cable TV the most popular channel is pro wrestling for so many years.

For newspapers the most profitable ones are the tabloid papers they murdoch/Fox made his money from to expand all over the world. Is that what is meant by the founders of free press? were they saying trash that sells is what is the foundation for a democracy?

Talk about public executions. North Korea publicly executed over 80 people last week for possessing bibles and videos. By machine gun in the square.

WHERE ARE THE IDIOTS AT THE UN ON THIS?

This is what happens when you try to control speech. Sadly England has taken the 1st step into the rabbit hole.

Hey big shot Baja Dean. Why don't you go stand in front of a Mexican politicians home with a sign that reads Hey Enrique Peña Nieto, you are a corrupt politician and should be jailed.....stand there all night. By morning you'd be stuffed in a shallow grave after a night of torture. You live in Mexico don't you? It's such a great country.

No, not the Gestapo. In many ways, with a few of you, I feel as if I'm watching the local clown show at the funny farm.

And why should I give you Leni Riefenstahl films? You get all you need from Fox, Limbaugh, Beck, Savage... and maybe a little Alex Jones, just for fun.

The serious part of this is that Savage has the right to speak, at least in the United States, no matter how twisted he is. He has some interesting areas where he braves the standard right wing crap, but overall he is a nihilist working the wing nuts for money. That doesn't mean he should be censored. He should be boycotted, insulted, refuted, etc. Free speech means the freedom to say offensive things as long as they are not actually threats. When they cross the line of decency, sponsors should kick him off the air.

But the funny thing is the quote by Bard:

Quote:
Maybe you like Leni Riefenstahl films

I have to admit I'm surprised that Bard knows who she is and spells it right. But of course, her approach of making the Jews the "other" who are less than human, has been the right wing approach to Obama since day one. When people question your behavior, blame them. Classic. Next I'll be told that I'm the racist for pointing this out. Classic.

my friend you watch too much fox..... From what I could see no-one else around that was credible said anything of bibles. It seems to be more Fox propaganda. A quick look of the international write ups does not show your bible reference . can you find a reputable series of media that shows it had to do with bibles. Seems most state for watching videos like Despirate Houswives. even another major right wing trust fund media organization owned by right wing partisan hater Philip Anschutz paper the examiner had the Fox bible part, again credibility with a right wing owned trust fund kids owned media holding repeating Fox.. and do you really know it is true, as noted there was only one so called source. Oh you would drop nukes because of "curveball" so a unconfirmed source you would do the same.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/11/north-korea-public-execution_n_4252610.html

Quote:
North Korea publicly executed around 80 people earlier this month, many for watching smuggled South Korean TV shows, a South Korean newspaper reported Monday.

The conservative JoongAng Ilbo cited a single, unidentified source, but at least one North Korean defector group said it had heard rumours that lent credibility to the front-page report.

The source, said to be "familiar" with the North's internal affairs and recently returned from the country, said the executions were carried out in seven cities on November 3.

In the eastern port of Wonsan, the authorities gathered 10,000 people in a sports stadium to watch the execution of eight people by firing squad, the source quoted one eyewitness as saying.

Most were charged with watching illicit South Korean TV dramas, and some with prostitution.

Quote:

The Anschutz Corporation is an American privately held holding company headquartered in Denver, Colorado, United States.[1] It was started in 1958 by Fred Anschutz, a wildcatter, and the father of Philip Anschutz, who took over the company in 1962.[1]
The Anschutz Corporation, and affiliates Anschutz Company and Anschutz Investment Company, are vehicles for the diversified investments for Anschutz;[1] the latter is a venture capital firm with minority stakes in sectors such as mass media, entertainment, sports, telecommunications, energy, and transportation.[2] Larger investments include Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) and the Regal Entertainment Group.[3] The company is also the owner, through Clarity Media Group and The Oklahoma Publishing Company, of several media properties, including The Weekly Standard, The Oklahoman, The Gazette (Colorado Springs), and The Washington Examiner.[4]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Anschutz
As one of the world's wealthy billionaires, Philip Anschutz has been making a name for himself
Anschutz has funded a number of conservative and Christian organizations including the following:[32][33][34]
Quote:
• The Foundation for a Better Life, organization founded in 2000 to promote "positive behavioral values;" it is neither anti-gay nor right-wing and has no political agenda; the Foundation communicates its message through television, outdoor advertising, theater, radio, and the Internet;
• Institute for American Values, which campaigns against same-sex marriage. The Institute has received three grants to date for a total of $17,500 over the lifetime of the Foundation;[31]
• Colorado for Family Values, the organization behind Colorado's anti-same-sex-marriage constitutional amendment, Amendment 2, approved by the voters in 1992 and later overturned by the US Supreme Court;
• Enough Is Enough, whose President and CEO is Donna Rice Hughes, the major figure in the sex scandal that ended the 1987 campaign of Gary Hart, in the Democratic presidential primary. The organization claims that it is "Lighting the way to protect children and families from the dangers of illegal Internet pornography and sexual predators";

and again it is a right wing way for massive execution. Isn't Texas the one that wants executions the most... Don't they brag down there in Texas about executions.

Big shot, just because I in a single post demolished every one of so called arguments so completely that it was like a nuclear bomb going off vs your bullet throwing that could not hit anything.

as far as Mexico, I am not a citizen there. But will say US policy of drugs has allowed their nation to have a very powerful under-culture of criminals. They are as ruthless as the military industrial complex in the USA. And in many ways no different than the trust fund kids in the US that buy media.

I agree with you on the drug policy. However if you have legalized drug use, you'd better have drug testing for welfare recipients. You'd better open more morgues. You'd better prepare mothers to lose more kids earlier than expected.

As for you defending N Korea. Your ideology speaks for itself.

as far as your drug testing of welfare didn't florida do that and it turned out the per capita of welfare users on drugs was lower than the general populations? Why stop there there is corporate welfare, why not every farmer and every company that receives any government money from defense to NSA to CIA including their dependents have to take a drug test monthly. after all we do not want our cia being vulnerable to blackmail because of actions of their kids. I am sure Hoover would have used it and appears people in the NSA are using it for personal reasons.

next your N Korea puke, what liberal ever supports dictators, authoritarians.. The point was directed at how right wingers love their liars in the media. and noted it appears you are even defending these lies and liars who tell them.

trust fund kid (old school nobles) ownership should be banned of major media. Maybe the most one can own is one paper. Maybe this could help get real freedom of the press.

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57451542/former-uk-prime-minister-john-major-says-rupert-murdoch-tried-to-change-government-policy/

Quote:
(AP) LONDON - Former British Prime Minister John Major said Tuesday that Rupert Murdoch tried to influence his government's dealings with the European Union, even hinting that the politician could lose the support of the media mogul's newspapers if he didn't change direction.

Major was testifying before Britain's inquiry into media ethics, which was set up after it emerged that reporters at a major Murdoch tabloid had hacked into the voicemails of people in the news.

The scandal has since mushroomed, engulfing political leaders criticized as having too-cozy links with the media tycoon.

Quote:
Blair and his successor Gordon Brown have also testified at the inquiry about their relationship with Murdoch's empire. Brown said Monday that Murdoch's papers had undermined the British war effort in Afghanistan.

The phone-hacking scandal that began with revelations about Murdoch's now-defunct News of the World has triggered three police investigations that have resulted in more than 40 arrests.

Media ethics??????? Don't make me laugh!!!!!!!! Since when?

To quote Frank Zappa "I am the slime on your video, oozing along on your living room floor"........ Some things never change.

What I wonder is, why anyone pays any mind to it?
