Port Kelley max gust recorded 54mph @ 3:20, huge rolling swell. Needed something smaller than a 3.2! |

Yeah, but PK usually blows harder than its sensor says 'cause the sensor's tucked back in the cove. I've never been as OP'd anywhere else as I have been at PK. But then, I've never tried Rooster at 70, either. |

Dawn today (Saturday) on the far eastern Columbia: 54 degrees with wind speeds averaging in the 30s (gusting into the 50s now at 1 PM and forecast to get windier this evening). It's quite noisy even in my basement; I'm sure the eastern Gorge winter sailors are grinning from ear. |
