I just bought a 100% north sails mast and I am planning to use it with a neilpryde mast extension. I heard about incompatibilities before between these 2 brands do you guys know if I should buy a different extension? thanks |

I can't imagine the mast extension having an impact on the bend curve of the mast.
Neil Pryde has a specific bend curve that works best with Neil Pryde sails.
The extension shouldn't really alter the dynamics of the mast performance, as long as your not trying to match a Standard Diameter Mast (SDM) with a Reduced Diameter (RDM) extension, you should be fine.

using a long extension, esp a RDM /carbon it may/could show some bend when rigged.
I agree with above , it will have no appreciable effect on the sail/mast bend curve integration. Use the NORTH /NP _________________ K4 fins
