You KNOW it's headed that direction when even the NYT and similar DNC lap dogs are ripping him a new one over the ACA. |

Boggs,
Obama's promise/lie that you can keep your plan was a snow job. OF COURSE those with the corporate plans could keep their plans, they have NOTHING to do with the ACA.
Why would Obama be making promises to those not a part of the ACA. He was talking to those with individual plans that ARE at the mercy of the ACA's new requirements. Yes, plans get renewed annually with price changes, mostly up but some down. The point is, those with individual plans CAN'T keep the same plan and the same coverage as they once did. HE LIED and he has know it for three years. |

Technoo..the venerable Wall Street Journal , which I have been reading daily since 1988, has stooped a little since Rupert bought it. But, since the right is doing everything in its power to stop the ACA, the Journal decided to post an op-ed by Suzanne Somers on its "expert" page today. This is not a satire:
http://blogs.wsj.com/experts/2013/10/28/suzanne-somers-the-affordable-care-act-is-a-socialist-ponzi-scheme/?KEYWORDS=suzanne+somers
During the debate, the right continuously stated that corporations would stop covering employees if the ACA gave them an out, so a lot of his promise WAS to employer insured people.
Look, you can call Obama a liar if it warms your cockels, but I think its a stretch. |

I heard a quote somewhere, that makes more sense to me the more I look at the Ocare requirements of insurers, as opposed to what they actually provide in our policies...

Great piece of journalism, haha - but I was distracted after 5 seconds and had to click on "Five things you nanny won't tell you" (rather disappointing, in spite of the interesting thumbnail).
Pretty hard to take the WSJ seriously, seriously. _________________ florian - ny22

I have to admit that Suzanne Somers did hit all the Republican talking points in her brief commentary. There you have it from a Hollywood star. |
