Warning messages about iwindsurf since Firefox 24 update.
Every time I bring the windsruf up Firefox gives me a messages
saying this is an unsigned site and I have to click off on an
option that says I will take proceed at my own risk.
I have sent a screen shot to support but have not gotten

stop going to HTTPS://www.iwindsurf.com

instead, go to HTTP://www.iwindsurf.com

check your bookmark for the site and make sure there is no "S" in there.

unless, of course, you're doing it on purpose because you're afraid the NSA is spying on your windsurfing activity.

The entire home page string looks like this.

after you go to iwindsurf, does your browser have "HTTPS" in the address bar (the bar at the top with the URL in it)?

also, try clearing your cache by going to:

"History --> Clear Recent History --> Clear Now"

then delete your iwindsurf bookmark.

then go to http://www.iwindsurf.com and book that page.

The "s" it https means it's a secure site, shouldn't cause any security problems, just the opposite. I don't know why you're using the secure version unless you're paying you bill or signing up.

Looks to me like you're opening 3 sites with that string, iWindsurf, Surfline, and Wunderground, could be any one of them. I'd guess it's NOT iWindsurf, been around for a long time, and I've never had any security issues. Wunderground is also a big professional site. My guess would be Surfline, try taking it out of your home page links and check.

But is says iwindsurf on the screen message as the offender

Also I just tried deleting all the iwindsurf cookies and it didn't help.
And modified the home page so iwindsurf wasn't present and the message goes away with iwindsurf not in the home page.

I think or somebody indicated that the problem may be coming from Java or one of the other sub programs iwindsurf uses to run the moving wind maps.

These were automatic calls in my website from my iwindsurf home page.
Firefox really hates Java.

a couple of my students (who are super duper computer whiz freaks) think that Java has been ruined by Oracle (Larry Ellison) since they bought out Sun. so, maybe Java is the problem, not just Firefox.

who knows? I sure don't.
