What? The carpet doesn't match the drapes?
She made some good points that even John Stewart would agree on...The Republicans voted to fully fund the government, but added a requirement that everyone live under Obamacare. No more special waivers for Congress and their staff, and no waivers for big business without the same waivers for individuals. |

This fixation on waivers to the ACA is a fabricated distraction. The bulk of the ACA is unaffected by the employer mandate and the requirement that corporations adopt health plans that are compliant with the ACA.
Both these provisions should, likely, been phased in over a longer period of time, after the insurance exchanges became operational. But, the rest of the plan only works if individuals become engaged in the system ie buy insurance. This is an impossibility without the exchanges (A Republican idea for years).
Physicians, my wife included, have been working for the last year implementing standardized electronic billing and charting to make it easier for portability with insurance companies and cost control. The government has promised us funding to do this. Do you really think it is a good idea to pull the plug on this process for a year?
Insurance companies have already rewritten plans for thousands of us based on the ACA implementation.
Scary fact...ALL OF OUR FUTURE DEFICIT GROWTH RELATIVE TO HISTORICAL LEVELS AS A PERCENTAGE OF THE GDP WILL BE DUE TO INCREASED HEALTH CARE COSTS. I would suggest reading the CBO long term outlooks instead of Ann Coulter to understand this.
Oh I've got a plan...let's just continue to ignore that! |

I read the Tea party thing. Thanks poinster
WOW
It says the uninsured have no problem. Their study concludes that folks without insurance don't die any sooner than insured folks, so insurance is not needed.
The guy who wrote that had to take a break to think this over.
He rushed home send in his insurance payment.
When the Teas all cancel their health insurance, so will I. |

So, she's not 100% unreal.

It's 100% an act, to sell books. Or what passes for books in the non-reading part of the political spectrum. |

Like Michele Malkin?
Like O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh?
And yet, some fools buy into that sewage lock, stock, and barrel.

Pueno--you may be onto something. Some people will buy sewage if they think it has something to do with guns (locks, stock, and barrel?) |

Pueno, since you like those other talkers, you might love Alex Jones. He'll get your satanic head spinning like a top. |
