So Obama should just continue to issue edicts?

How can the left not understand that standing up for our rights is not obstructionism, but rather being an American? It is not only part our rights, is IS our foremost right ... Numero Uno in our Bill of Rights.

I'm having an extremely hard time holding back what every good American, including most legal and illegal immigrants, REALLY want to type when you or any other far left extremist supports flushing our Constitution and Bill of Rights down the toilet through presidential decree.

Right. I'd like to see no waivers, and all government employees including the president abide by the law now. Obama thinks he can waive his hands and let illegals in. Waive his hands and eliminate the ACA from his political friends. Waive his hands and start another war. Waive his hands and change the gun laws.

Well he can't according to the Equal Protections clause in the constitution.

If you're going to bluster and blabber and slobber and sputter over something and want to be taken seriously, then consider using the correct word.

The word you want is WAVE. To waive something is to relinquish or give up something.

Is this you?

I'll make an exception for you. After all, you never post anything original. You just copy 'n paste.

The Turdy One should work on punctuation.

NW--it's not just that you can't spell--you can't distinguish between advocacy and journalism. You seem to have a cognitive disconnect between your desire to be taken seriously--and your misspelled and factually incorrect postings from sites with no credibility.

Tell me, were you the guy on the football team in high school that always made fun of the nerds?

SB...If you are suggesting that Congress and the President be required to have insurance furnished by their employer, purchase on their own or through an exchange or pay a fine...then you should know that is the case. I have no idea what else you may mean by your comment on the ACA.

As far a waving his hands and starting a war....didn't Mr. Obam instead seek Congressional approval in Syria?

Immigration reform also must come from Congress. Obama is not granting any unilateral amnesty, is he?

The idea that Congress is exempt from Ocare is one of those persistent falsehoods that Fact Check has debunked over and over.

They do not have to use the exchanges. For all practical purposes, 99% of people will have to use the exchanges eventually because they will be cheaper. There will be limited doctors and facilities to those people according to my insurance agent. In fact many people are saying don't leave your private plans if you don't have to. This is the reason the unions are angry. They will have to go onto the exchanges and drop the plans they have.

Unions like their plans, and know that the exchanges will be inferior.

Factcheck
"Republican Rep. Robert Pittenger is misleading his constituents by saying that he will decline the health insurance offered to members of Congress next year because it includes a “special subsidy” from the president that “exempted” Congress from the Affordable Care Act.
Congress isn’t “exempt” from the law. It wasn’t exempt back in 2010, when we first debunked such a claim; nor were lawmakers exempt in May when the bogus bit surfaced again. Three months later, they’re still not exempt. In fact, as we’ve said before, lawmakers and their staffs face additional requirements that other Americans don’t. And the “special subsidy” to which Pittenger refers is simply a premium contribution that his employer, the federal government, has long made to the health insurance policies of its workers.

The Affordable Care Act says that starting in 2014, members of Congress and their staffs can no longer get their health insurance through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, as they have in the past. Instead, these federal employees will have to get insurance through the exchanges set up by the Affordable Care Act. Other Americans with work-based insurance aren’t subject to such a requirement.
They can continue to get health insurance through their employers. Other federal workers, too, can continue to select health insurance plans through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. But not Congress.
Why the unusual requirement for lawmakers and congressional staffers? This provision was added when health care bills were being debated, out of Republican concern that Congress get the same insurance that would be offered to some Americans through this legislation — insurance sold through state-based and federal exchanges. Those exchanges are for individuals who buy their own insurance, including the now uninsured, and small businesses."
