I think there is a strong possibility she would win. That merely demonstrates the appalling lack of talent we have in the political ranks and the willingness of partisans to vote for whomever has the right letter next to their name, regardless of actual achievements. Hey, but look on the bright side........maybe she'll bring some of the furniture back. |

I respectfully disagree...I think she would be a good president. |

Assuming that what you are saying is true, I'm curious whether the furniture in question is historical White House antiques, or whether it was stuff that the Clinton's bought during Bill Clinton's presidency. Please fill us in. |

Clinton is the only person running who has exprience on the job. Bill said more than once she worked with him on policy.
He is likely to be her partner in the same way. It would be a unique American experience for us to have a candidate with all those qualifications.
Of course if you are a partisan hack all you can think of is furniture... |

Track record..........furniture stolen from the White House...... |
Quote: | Did the Clinton's steal furniture from the White House?
Answer:
No. Stealing is legal term and there has been no such charge made by any authority. The Clintons took items given to them while they were in the White House, and what they took was agreed to by the White House managers.

It does demonstrate that mrgybe, like those getting blowjobs while trying to impeach Bill Clinton for getting a blowjob, is an equal opportunity haters. The attacks on Bill and Hillary when they were in the White House were just as vicious, and usually false, as those on Obama. Hillary will probably win, in no small part because folks like mrgybe are so offensive that women and minorities will vote in droves for the candidates that they post false accusations about. |

Former President Clinton and his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, have sent $28,000 worth of household goods back to Washington after questions arose over whether the items were intended as personal gifts or donations to the White House. After they were criticized for taking $190,000 worth of china, flatware, rugs, televisions, sofas and other gifts with them when they left, the Clintons announced last week that they would pay for $86,000 worth of gifts, or nearly half the amount.
Their latest decision to send back $28,000 in gifts brings to $114,000 the value of items the Clintons have either decided to pay for or return.
I guess it's not stealing if you pay for it after you get caught?

Smart as a whip, a leader, hard nosed, seen the inner workings of the federal government, internationally respected, wife of a man who left office with an 80% approval rating-who led the US to its most prosperous time...maybe ever. A former Senator, an excellent Sec of State( WSJ, Henry Kissinger agree), sound decision maker, a true power broker, accomplished attorney, smacked down Ron Johnson-Tea Party darling in Senate hearing, she's funny, wears green glasses...did I mention she is smart? |
