Heartwarming story.
Looks like a larger dog door will be needed soon!

cane corso is an italian breed. presa canario is the canary island one.

the dogs that attacked and killed the gym teacher in sf a few years ago were presa canrios

both breads were originally bred to herd cattle but later used to scare the shit out of the natives in brazil and argentina.

sweet like pit bulls are sweet. maybe it was some gangsters' dog that they were tying to get rid o because it wasn't mean enough.

This story teaches us a valuable lesson; never go out at TI alone!

I am so uplifted by this story it is hard to fathom.

Without question, this is the best post of the 2013 Summer.

If that dog is at all related to the guard and attack breeds, I'd put money on it that it came from TI. Because by all appearances, that is the ONLY breed kept by the residents. That and Chihuahuas (which would be shark bait in a nanosecond).

We in the veterinary profession call different types "breeds".

Something about this story doesn't make sense, in my experience dogs know instinctively which direction land is. Just like a cat will always land on it's feet.
Either someone dumped the dog in the middle of the bay or the dog is crazy.
