Feeling a bit gutted... Andre was a truly inspirational member of the greater windsurfing family. RIP. _________________ formerly known as hodad.andy

Bravo on living your short life to the fullest Andre! You have my deepest respect for all you did.
Andre did live his life to the fullest. I saw him late last winter at Ho'okipa. Windsurfing the kind of full-on winter days we all dream about. Cancer had already taken a severe toll on him. It was obvious. But he was out there shredding. Committed.
I am sure Andre committed to everything he touched with such zeal. He leaves behind a body of work that every windsurfer should know by heart.
Well done Andre. You will be missed. Best to your family and friends.

If you have Tricktionary II, then you've seen Andre sail.
Thanks for helping me learn some freestyle, Andre, you made a difference to people during your short time here.
Having lost seven family members (including both my parents) to various cancers, I encourage everyone to donate to the search for a cure. Science is getting ever closer to cracking this vile disease. _________________ Kansas City |
