NW...you're being fleeced ....again. Rupert published a story today in the NYPost, including anonymous sources, and a "top Democrat". His effort is to tie Hillary to Weiner, in an effort to take the shine off her pending landslide in three years. How do we even know that the Clintons are "livid"? I doubt they are.

Don't let this forum be your only news source.

NW ...dont let Drudge rule your day...you're a California wave sailor!!!
The POST article is the lead for all MSM linkage. Its a fabricated story. I suspect the only reason the Clintons are "livid" is that Huma is in a bad place.

Maybe you should let ABC and NBC in on it.

“Should politicians be role models?” You might as well go all “root cause analysis” and ask: “Should LAWYERS be role models?” since virtually every politician is a lawyer first, and the answer is: NO. I don’t care how good your genetic engineering is, you can’t turn a shark into Lassie.

Mix metaphors much? Smile

Lawyers also ought to be proficient at spotting faulty logic. Here is one example: Most drunk drivers first held a drivers license. Therefore, most drivers of cars are drunk. Post hoc ergo propter hoc.

I know good politicians who were lousy lawyers as well as great lawyers who couldn't get elected to the water cooler committee. I suppose it always comes down to the particular issue and the side you wish to support.

Just for your entertainment. Hopefully the left won't get too defensive. From the Internet.

Quote:
The Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail.
A coyote jumps out and attacks the Governor's dog, then bites the Governor.

The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie "Bambi"
and then realizes he should stop because the coyote is only doing what is
natural.

He calls Animal Control. Animal Control captures the coyote and bills the
State $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.

He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the State
$200 testing it for diseases.

The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for
diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound bandaged.

The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish & Game conducts a
$100,000 survey to make sure the area is now free of dangerous animals.

The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a "coyote
awareness program" for residents of the area.

The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies
and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.

The Governor's security agent is fired for not stopping the attack. The
State spends $150,000 to hire and train a new agent with additional special
training regarding the nature of coyotes.

PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files a $5 million suit against
the State.

TEXAS :

The Governor of Texas is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A
coyote jumps out and attacks his dog.

The Governor shoots the coyote with his State-issued pistol and keeps
jogging. The Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.

Buzzards eat the dead coyote. [The dog lives]

And that, my friends, is why California is broke and Texas is not.

Techno, I'm sorry, but that story is ridiculous. You can't buy a .45 ACP hollow point for 50 cents!!

You are correct. DHS has bought so many they cost well over a $1 each.
