Quote.
'I and the forum archives have proved these liars to be liars literally thousands of times over the last 20 years. They don't care, as they have no conscience or morals..'
An utterly ridiculous and insulting statement that tells you all you need to know about this person, and his infantile rantings and ravings! |

Mac, I just had a read of the lawn mower/ROW thread and my opinion is that the IsybarKid has a valid point. It's just that his ramblings go off track and the logic isn't clear. Seriously Iso, take my advice. Sh. |

Feds tell Web firms to turn over user account passwords
Secret demands mark escalation in Internet surveillance by the federal government through gaining access to user passwords, which are typically stored in encrypted form.
by Declan McCullagh |July 25, 2013 11:26 AM PDT
The U.S. government has demanded that major Internet companies divulge users' stored passwords, according to two industry sources familiar with these orders, which represent an escalation in surveillance techniques that has not previously been disclosed.
If the government is able to determine a person's password, which is typically stored in encrypted form, the credential could be used to log in to an account to peruse confidential correspondence or even impersonate the user. Obtaining it also would aid in deciphering encrypted devices in situations where passwords are reused.
"I've certainly seen them ask for passwords," said one Internet industry source who spoke on condition of anonymity. "We push back."
A second person who has worked at a large Silicon Valley company confirmed that it received legal requests from the federal government for stored passwords. Companies "really heavily scrutinize" these requests, the person said. "There's a lot of 'over my dead body.'"
For the rest~

NW, you're being fleeced again by the right wing media machine. Nobody in Silicon Valley has said there websites have been compromised. AND , nobody on your quality post has a name...just anonymous sources. This is the technique of the hackery, and it looks like its working on you. |

Max--You are right, somewhere in there--after he gets the essence of what his actual responsibilities are--is a point.
The rules of navigation are intended to protect all those on the water, and to assure a level of predictability. I learned them when I started to race, and another racer lifted me up so I missed the starting line--I had a motive to learn the rules. But many sailors don't know them, or, like Iso, claim that the starboard right of way rules don't apply in the Gorge or on the coast when someone is on a wave. Wrong. The only thing that Isobars got right in his multiple and bullying posts (and presumably, action on the water) is that all sailors have a responsibility to avoid a collision.
Here's a really good windsurfing site with an excellent discussion of the rules:

David Wells, the owner of 101 Surf Sports is one of the best watermen in the Bay--highly skilled in racing Formula, slalom, freestyle, and SUP. Few match his knowledge and skill. |

Try to resist answering from a "law" stand point for once ... |
When appropriate, I’ve tried to address both the legal and moral issues. Legally, in many or most states, anyone innocent person being beaten up by an instigator can use deadly force to defend himself from what he believes to be death or grave bodily injury. By that law, Paul had that right when he was attacked, and the three stoners had that right against Rob (if they could convince a jury that the three of them really believed one guy could post that level of threat). Morally, IMO, Paul could have used a flame thrower to stop his beatdown, given its potential for lifelong or life-ending harm, and I commend Rob for teaching the stoners that actions have consequences. A liver bruise from one punch or kick can kill overnight.
My brother was attacked in high school by a big kid well-known for just walking up to strangers and cold-cocking them for kicks. One of my bro’s teeth was knocked almost out of his mouth, so we picked up some big honking vice grips and a few related tools and went looking for Johnny to return the favor. We didn’t find him. Days later, as my brother lay in bed following dental surgery, Johnny walked into my bro’s bedroom. Seconds later, my brother saw my face as I walked in behind Johnny, and quickly told me, “It’s OK; Johnny’s apologizing.” I turned to Johnny, told him about the vice grips, and informed him that if my brother hadn’t interceded just now, he’d be exiting the room through the adjacent brick wall, voluntarily or with my help, because he was sure as hell leaving right now but not through the door I had just entered.
I saw Johnny twice over the next couple of years. Both times he quickly backed away 20-30 feet, very clearly very afraid. Something about a 195-pound 5’10” gymnast, plus maybe my demeanor, scared the $#!+ out of him.
I asked my brother ~35 years later about that incident. He said he wished he hadn’t saved Johnny from that brick wall, as his tooth and jaw still had medical problems.
Today, the brick wall or the vice grips would land me in prison unless used in real-time defense of life or limb. That essentially forces us to make life-altering decisions real time, or fugheddaboutit and hope we aren’t killed or seriously injured. IMO, fuhgheddaboutthat. |

You far lefties, from the anonymous chickens here to the POTUS, would just LOVE for the nation's and world's conservatives, centrists, and ordinary liberals to Shhh, STFU, and/or just go away, wouldn't you? It would make your objective of imposing a nanny state, fascism, socialism, or whatever level of dictatorship you strive for just SO much easier, wouldn't it? Fortunately, we deliberately, proudly, and fairly successfully elected the Party of No to all the above. |

Why does the alias "Fick-shun" feel so right for you, Mikey?

The party of no action but for dozens of stupid repeals of AFCA in the House, making extraordinary efforts to restrict voting and passing laws banning or restricting abortion that are patently and knowingly unconstitutional.
I stopped posting for a few weeks just to take a break. I see things with Mr. Ficktion remain classy. _________________ Support Your Sport. Join US Windsurfing!

Can you be more specific on efforts to ban abortions? |
