Yesterday I went out late around 5 pm. Exactly like you guys said the wind line was about half way to Angelica. Once I made it out around Angelica and beyond I had the best session of my life Very Happy . I was on an 8.5 148L and lit the whole time. The board was a tad large, but not to bad. The steady wind, swell jumping/riding was awsome. It wasnt so choppy, just more spaced out swell. Super cool riding out there. Glad I stopped when I did, as the wind line was moving out. I cant wait to ride out there on a smaller board when its really cranking. Aganin thank you guys for all the info! Very helpful.

There is also another factor - in unfamiliar conditions you get trashed on day 1 and are cruising by day 2.
