How big? I use plastic accordion expanding file briefcases from Walmart and office supply stores for fins up to about 35 cm (i.e., all my fins). Each case holds roughly 15-18 fins, each in its own non-scratch clear plastic compartment. The briefcases cost <$20 each and hold up just fine if handled carefully.

I have one formula fin (long) and the rest are all pretty reasonable. Thanks for the thoughts.

I bought a big "Husky" brand tool tote from Home Depot, works great. Got the wide-mouth opening, it's big enough for prolly 20 fins up to 46 cm, tough as nails, nice handles for carrying.

I think that the Home Depot case is a good idea. I actually use one of my old fabric brief cases. I have side pockets for screw drivers and such and the fins go inside in the main pocket areas. Handles are a big plus!

Hey, I LIKE that idea. Much tougher than the lightweight plastic expanding folders I've been using. However, many of my fins have no sheaths, so I'd have to fabricate some dividers. That can't be too difficult.

I also use fabric briefcase/tote bag things. I get them from my wife who travels to professional conferences and meetings all the time. The sponsors of these events are always giving them away. They have handles or a shoulder strap, and usually a zippered outside pocket too, for screwdrivers and such.

my longer fins ..like 42 to 34cm I use something similar to what shreddybobbie said, canvans tote .
I have so so many little fins for multi fined boards, I have an assortment of smallish plastic storage boxes, 1 suitcase cosmetic case, bulky but efficient.
you can find some odd looking cases at thrift stores, that are very good value.
this is one trick bag, Hot Sails creation with pockets and gromets

Finally got around to taking a picture of the "Husky" tool bag I use for a fin stash. As you can see, it holds lots of fins (20?), and the white one sticking up is a 46 cm. Kona One fin, just about the max, but if you took the screw out of the top you could probably fit a 48 or 50. Got it at Home Depot, they have lots of different sizes & styles, and all are tough as nails.
