Heat is inland only.
Should be good to go at Crissy.
Nobody taking loop lessons is going to compete anyways.

Well it looks like this heatwave is going nowhere in the next 24 hrs. New forecast is pretty bad saying maybe mid teens waaaaaay outside for Crissy so unfortunately we are gonna have to cancel. We really want some wind for the loop clinic and the closer to shore the better so we can work on the self catapult.
We are still tentatively on the the delta on Sunday. Gonna keep and eye on the forecast tomorrow. They say the marine surge is going to hit Sunday which should have the delta ripping.
If so we will meet outside the access, just below the levy.
Fingers crossed.

WOw I guess I need to schedule more loop clinics if they are going to cause the Bay to blast like that!
What an epic weekend, windiest day ever seen in Berkeley and then mid 30's all day in the Delta.
After ripping around the Sign on my 3.7 fully lit all morning, hoping for the mid day lull I went up to the Access to meet with the few heads who hadn't already emailed me to opt out of looping iin 35knts. We all took one look at the blasting wind and newly beached boat and decided it was not a good day to learn anything except how to hold on. Gonna have to postpone this till later in the summer and then hope for a repeat...ha.
There must have been plenty of people breaking gear this weekend so check back on this forum for a Board Repair Clinic this upcoming weekend at Candlestick.
Why candlestick?? Because the fence there is made up of 50 perfect board racks for doing flat repairs or rail repairs. I will bring a broken board we can hack and repair and you can bring yours that needs fixing. Anything from softspots to nose dings.
I will have a generator and a couple grinders. Lets get our grind skills on.
