More Stick with 20-30 sailors out, started great blowing 4.3 very powered up at 2pm to start to die off at 3pm and be dead by 5 ... not a bad day at all but wish the thermals started to work as normal for the season!!!!! |

TI went ballistic around 2:30pm. I came off the water when I couldn't hold down the 4.0 anymore. 180 lb guys out on 3.5's. I've never seen that place that windy before.
Went west and caught the late session at Crissy lit up on the 4.5. I thought the forecast was for light winds today. Holy crap! |

I agree. I can't remember a windier day at the magic isle. And swell that was often overhead. Awesome day!

Gimped out to Berkeley around 2:45 on a 4.2 and 73, just too much for this old fart. Gusts around a real 40, but holes almost down to 15 it seems. Sailed only outside up by the Lordships. Fun in the gusts, terror in the holes, I actually plooped into the water 5 times from lack of supporting wind while slogging waaaay outside.
OK, terror in the gusts too. |

Today the gorge moved to Berkeley! Crazy!
I'm humbled that some of the local freestyle Hotshots were throwing loops while I was trying hard not to break anything, self included. I don't have sails small enough, 4.1 was too much. I'm glad they replaced the sensor, it has really improved the wind |
