No jinx at Kalmus today.

All the regulars were in attendance. My parking lot neighbor made a 3 hour trek from CT.

Except for a brief reecess at 3, pretty much full on all afternoon.

Women were well represented today too!

nice!

JE thanks for not jinxing it. Now can I use the word epic to describe WD today? Might have been the pick of the day for most consistent winds.

Antoine and I had a great afternoon at Pleasure Bay, harbor side, doing some drag racing, with a bit of air time mixed in to keep it real. Antoine managed to hold down a 4.7 and I was on a 4.2. I made him leave his colorful boardshorts in the car, and I think I even saw him spray a kiter, a show of his true allegiance? Wink

Classic Sound Side session in Chatham.
Solo trip to Mono-Maui was cool because waves were good and this boat (TYRONE) was aground on the bar and a 40ft fishing boat was trying to pull her off. She was getting pounded by the head high waves at the edge of Mono-Maui.
They did get here free but it was after we all headed home.

great first sail of the year for me! rigged up my 5.5 on angulo amigu and had blast! in nantucket sound.

here is a picture of the boat jerry was talking about. this was still an hour or 2 before low tide so she was heeled over even more before getting floated off the shoal. all soft sand in that spot so hopefuly she was ok! was also ass into the wind with her bow pointed dead downwind, stern taking the waves.
