Weather at 9 is looking not too bad for this afternoon.
I'm thinking about making the trip; but Skaket is tugging me to stay.
Absence of a major washout, paving will be underway shortly.

I'm at work at WBZ right now. Here is Joe's latest for today(9AM)........
A bit damp along the south coast through Midday, with scattered light showers and sprinkles. A cold front still remains well west of New England but will begin to approach during the afternoon. A strong low level jet will be in place ahead of the front...some of these winds will be mixing down during the afternoon with winds picking up from the SW with winds up to 20-25 kts this afternoon at our south facing beaches . Thunderstorm threat will remain in western New England during the afternoon hours. Showers will linger through midday...but a fairly dry and breezy afternoon should be expected!
Thanks, Joe!! Hopefully he was conservative with the wind speeds.
Kalmus, WD, Harding's?? The Cut???

The asphalt is going down and I have no practical value added - Kalmus might be in the cards

The Purple one and I are in for Kalmus. Not too many sailing days with Graham left. He's off to Wind-NC for summer after graduation and then San Francisco for college (did anyone really think he would end up somewhere else)?

Missed it today
The Bay area - what a place. Almost everytime I go in the garage, I'm reminded of it by ol' Blue (my beloved Haut) sitting on the rack.

You'd think that I'd had enough of Skaket. Not really, pretty much full on 5.o contions from 5 to 6 fit nicely into the day.
Neighbrhood kiter Matt was flat out on his 12.0
Sunshine warm air and water. A coupe of holes and a little late on the tide knocked it down to a A-.
